Frequently asked questions

Is cooking support covered by the NDIS?

It depends on your plan and goals. Support work like skill building, meal preparation, and help with daily living is commonly funded. Cooking on its own is funded in more specific situations, such as physical disability which can make preparing meals difficult. We are always happy to talk through what is likely to fit your plan.

Does the NDIS pay for food and ingredients?

No. The NDIS does not cover groceries or ingredients, so food costs are separate. We will help you plan an affordable shop as part of building your skills.

What areas do you service?

We work across the Sutherland Shire and the St George area.

Do you work with self-managed and plan-managed participants?

Yes. We welcome self-managed and plan-managed participants. Get in touch and we will sort out the details together.

Do you support children?

Yes. We support both children and adults, including ARFID support for children with specific dietary challenges.

Do you provide aged care?

No. We support NDIS participants, not aged care, which sits under a separate funding system. If you are not sure whether we are the right fit, get in touch and we will happily point you in the right direction.
